Hydrazine-based thrusters, commonly used in propulsion systems, are toxic, and as a result, there is a growing trend to replace them with environmentally friendly propellants. This study aimed to design a thrust system using the environmentally friendly propellant, HAN (Hydroxylammonium Nitrate). Prior to the design, catalytic reaction system implementation and HAN-based single propellant combustion tests were conducted to assess combustion performance.
